Welcome to use Xman Pets. Please (hereinafter referred to as "user" or "you") carefully read all the terms and conditions in this User Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "Privacy Policy"). Unless you accept the terms and conditions of this Agreement, please stop registering, logging in and using all services of Xman Pets. Once you register, log in, use or use this Agreement and other related services in any way, you will be deemed to have accepted the following relevant provisions of this Agreement, and you confirm that you understand and accept the legal agreement with the Company.
Before you use our products or services, please read carefully and fully understand the following terms, and especially pay attention to the terms in bold in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you may not be able to use our products and services normally.
This Privacy Policy is applicable to all our products and services. However, if the product or service has separate privacy terms or privacy agreements, the separate privacy terms or privacy agreements shall take precedence.
Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to your personal information collected by us, and does not apply to any third party's collection of your personal information, as well as any third party's services or third party's information usage rules. We do not assume any responsibility for any third party's collection, storage and use of your personal information within the scope permitted by law. Therefore, when using third-party services, please pay attention to and carefully read the relevant user agreements and privacy policies displayed to you by the third party, and properly keep and carefully provide your personal information.

1. How we collect and use your personal information
1.1. When you use our products or services, we need/may need to collect and use your personal information: For information necessary for the core business functions of our products or services, in order to ensure the normal operation of the products or services, you must authorize us to collect and use it; if you refuse to provide it, you will not be able to use our products or services normally. For information that may need to be collected for the additional business functions of our products or services, you can choose whether to authorize us to collect it; if you refuse to provide it, the additional business functions will not be realized or will not achieve the effects we intend to achieve, but it will not affect your normal use of the core business functions.
1.2. The functions/scenarios in which you need to authorize us to collect and use your personal information include:
1.2.1. Account registration/login function
(1) When you use the account registration function, we will collect some information that you actively provide to us, either alone or in combination, to identify your real-name identity (mobile phone number, user name, password). Your password will be automatically stored, transmitted, and verified in encrypted form. We will not store, transmit, or verify your password in plain text. We collect this information to complete the registration process, provide you with products or services exclusively for registered users in a continuous and stable manner, and protect the security of your account. You should be aware that the mobile phone number and verification code matching results are your personal sensitive information. We collect this information to meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations. If you refuse to provide it, you may not be able to use this function of ours. Please consider carefully before providing it.
(2) At the same time, you can also fill in or supplement your nickname, avatar, gender, region, birthday, occupation, signature, interests and hobbies during registration or subsequent use. This information will help us better understand you and provide you with better services. If you do not fill in or delete it later, it will not affect the normal use of the registration/login function.
1.2.2. Graphic or video information production, publishing, communication and interaction functions
(1) When you use video editing to create, upload, publish, live broadcast, listen to, post, communicate and interact on the platform, like, comment, and share services/functions in some of our products or services, in addition to registering and logging in to your account, you may actively provide relevant graphic/video content and interactive information (songs you are listening to, posts, likes, comments, sharing, and communication and interaction information). We will automatically collect the above information from you and display your nickname, avatar, and the content of the information you publish. Please be aware that the information you publish may contain the personal information of others. Please be sure to obtain the legal authorization of others to avoid illegally disclosing the personal information of others. If you do not agree that we collect the above information, you will not be able to use our information publishing function, but it will not affect your use of other products and services we provide to you.
(2) In addition, we will interact with you through push notifications, in-site messages, phone calls, text messages, and emails. You acknowledge and agree that we may send multiple types of notifications to one or more of your contact information (email, phone number, contact address) during the use of our products or services for user notification, identity verification, security verification, and user research purposes. You can independently control the mechanism for receiving message notifications in our products or services. You can control whether you receive message notifications and the specific types of message notifications you receive through "Sidebar-Settings-Message Settings"; in addition, you can unsubscribe through the unsubscribe methods provided in your mobile phone or email.
1.2.3. Friend function
When you use the friend function, we will recommend people you may know and their content to you based on the mobile phone number, address book, people you follow, and relationship chains generated by the use of sharing functions authorized by you or other users (combined with third-party account login information), and recommend you or your content to people you may know. If you do not want us to recommend you or be recommended to people you may know based on the aforementioned functions, you can set it through "Sidebar-Settings-Privacy Settings-Other Settings-Turn on Friend Matching/Allow Friends to Find Me". The collection of address book information requires you to turn on the address book permission, which is personal sensitive information. You can refer to Section 1.3.5 of this Privacy Policy for settings. Please be aware that if the address book uploaded by other users contains your contact information, we will recommend people you may know and their content to you, and recommend you and your content to people you may know.
1.2.4. Customer service and other user response functions
(1) When you interact with our customer service or use other user response functions (submitting feedback online, communicating with online/manual customer service, making after-sales requests for our products or services, exercising your control over relevant personal information, other customer complaints and demands), for the security of your account and system, we need you to provide account information first and match it with your previous personal information to verify your user identity. When you use customer service or other user response functions, we will also collect the following personal sensitive information from you according to the needs of the scenario: contact information (the phone number/email address/QQ number you use when contacting us or other contact information you actively provide to us), and communication information between you and us in the form of text/pictures/audio/video/call records. We collect this information to investigate the facts and help you solve problems. If you refuse to provide it, you may not be able to use our customer service and other user response mechanisms.
1.2.5. Product safety features
(1) When you use our products or services, we need to collect your personal information to protect the security of your account and system when using our products or services, and to help improve the security and reliability of our products and services to prevent any behavior that harms users and society. Specific personal information refers to your account login location, device information, sensor information, login IP address, product version number, language mode, browsing history, network usage habits, service failure information, network logs, personal Internet access records, and personal sensitive information (transaction information, real-name authentication information).
(2) Device information includes hardware model, device MAC address/network device identifier, IMEI, IMSI, MEID, AndroidId, hardware serial number, IDFA, OAID, DeviceId, ICCID, and openUDID. The IMEI, DeviceId, MEID, ICCID, IMSI of the Android system, and the IDFA of the iOS system (depending on the terminal device you use) are collected after you agree to the corresponding permissions. If you do not agree to grant us this permission, we will not be able to collect the corresponding information, but it will not affect your use of the functions of our products.
(3) Log information refers to the operation logs and service logs that we automatically collect and generate when you use our products or services, including your browsing history, likes, shares, comments, search terms and search history, interaction records, favorites, follows, playback records, access date and time operation records.
(4) We will use the above information to comprehensively judge your account, account and transaction risks, conduct identity verification, customer service, detect and prevent security incidents, monitor fraud, archive and backup purposes, and take necessary recording, auditing, analysis and disposal measures in accordance with the law. Once we detect the existence or suspected existence of account security risks, we will use the relevant information to conduct security verification and risk elimination to ensure the security of the products and services we provide to you, so as to protect your rights and interests from infringement. At the same time, when account or system security issues occur, we will collect this information to optimize our products and services.
(5) To ensure the security of your device’s operating environment and prevent malicious programs and cheating, we will collect the necessary software list information installed or running on your device, including the software package name and software name, after you agree to this Privacy Policy and when you need to call or wake up a third-party application. Please be aware that the software list information alone cannot identify your specific identity.
1.2.6. Free traffic function
If you use the free data function, we will obtain your mobile phone number through our partners and collect your SIM card serial number, IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity), and operator information to determine whether you meet the free data conditions in order to provide the free data service. Mobile phone numbers are personal sensitive information. After obtaining your consent, we will use encryption technology to collect them for the aforementioned functions.
1.2.7. When you use some of our interactive functions, we need to obtain information about your device to achieve the aforementioned functions.
1.3. For the information that may need to be collected when using the additional business functions of our products or services, you can choose whether to authorize us to collect it; if you refuse to provide it, the additional business functions will not be realized or will not achieve the effects we intend to achieve, but it will not affect your normal use of the core business functions. This information generally requires you to cooperate in opening the corresponding device permissions to obtain it, so you can manage it by collecting the corresponding permissions on the device settings page. At the same time, you can also turn on/cancel the corresponding permissions through "Sidebar-Settings-Privacy Settings". When you turn on this permission, it is deemed that you authorize us to access, obtain, collect, and use your corresponding personal information; when you cancel this authorization, we will no longer collect this information, and we will no longer be able to provide you with the above-mentioned corresponding services; but unless you delete your personal information in accordance with the law, your cancellation will not affect our processing and storage of personal information based on your previous authorization. You can choose whether to provide personal information in the following circumstances:
1.3.1. Additional business functions based on device storage/album permissions
When you upload/update your account avatar, create and publish graphics/videos, comment, or post business functions, we will need to obtain your device storage/album permissions and collect the files, images, and video content information (personal information) you provide.
1.3.2. Additional business functions based on device camera permissions
When you use the functions of setting or updating avatar/personal space background image, album management, image saving, video recording, publishing graphic/video content, uploading cover and encountering personal cover, we will need to obtain the camera permission of your device and collect the picture and video content information (personal information) you provide.
1.3.3. Additional business functions based on device microphone permissions
When you use the video recording function, we will need to obtain the microphone permission of your device and collect your voice information and voice interaction information (personal information).
1.3.4. Additional business functions based on device calendar permissions
When you use the Pet Care App to add reminders or notes, we will need to read/write the calendar permission of your device and collect your calendar information (personal information).
1.3.5. Additional business functions based on device address book permissions
When you use the functions of adding friends or inviting address book friends, we will need to obtain the address book permission of your device and collect relevant address book information (contact name and corresponding contact information, address book friend list). At the same time, we will recommend people you may know and their content to you based on the collected address book information, and recommend you and your content to people you may know; you can set it through "Sidebar-Settings-Privacy Settings-Other Settings-Turn on Friend Matching/Allow Friends to Find Me". However, your behavior of turning off the "Turn on Friend Matching/Allow Friends to Find Me" setting will not affect our previous collection and use of information based on your permission. Address book information is personal sensitive information, please be cautious when turning on address book permissions.
1.3.6. Additional business functions based on location permissions
(1) When using the pet walking function, nearby, regional rankings, search by distance and other location-based positioning functions, and using the positioning function when posting updates, we need to apply for your location permission and collect your location information (personal sensitive information) after your authorization. The location information is used to provide pet walking tracks and pet walking record information. It will also be used for nearby people services and to synchronize your works to regional rankings, allowing you to view the competition rankings in your area and display your location when posting updates.
(2) When you use our products, we will analyze your approximate geographic location through your IP address. If the analysis results show that you are located in a country or region outside of mainland China, we will need to apply for your location permission and collect your location information (personal sensitive information) after your authorization to determine whether you are in the copyright authorized area. Geographic location information is personal sensitive information. If you do not provide it, you may not be able to use related functions, but it will not affect your use of our other services.
1.3.7. Additional business functions based on floating window permissions
When you add notes or reminders, we need to apply for your floating window permission to enable the small window to display the current reminder or note content. The floating window permission is a special sensitive permission. If you do not provide it, you may not be able to see the reminder or note through the small window, but it will not affect your use of our other functions or services.
1.3.8. Necessary for service content, maintenance/improvement of our products or services
(1) In some of our products or services, we will display pictures or videos posted by users, as well as their service content. This is done in accordance with our platform operation strategy. At the same time, in order to provide you with better service content and advertisements that you may be more interested in, so that you can have a better product or service experience or other purposes you agree to, we will also push targeted advertisements based on your relevant personal information, user portraits, etc. In this process, we will collect your search history, playback history, number of times you browse service content and advertisements, and behavioral information on your interactions with them, likes/shares/comments/interaction information, collection records, playback time, order information, IP address, access date and time, your preferred online behavior, interest preferences, device information, and necessary software lists in one of our products or services, and perform algorithm modeling, programmatic advertising algorithm modeling, user behavior analysis, and user portraits in a comprehensive statistical and analytical manner, either alone or in combination with certain information from other services, to help us better understand how you use our products or services, maintain and improve our products or services, or provide you with different services.
(2) You authorize us to share with our partners who have entrusted us to carry out information promotion and advertising (see third-party SDK service details) the indirect user profiles, de-identified device information, or anonymized analysis and statistical information that we have formed using your relevant information but cannot identify your personal identity information, so as to help them make advertising or decision-making recommendations, improve the effective reach of advertising, and measure the effectiveness of advertising and related services without identifying your personal identity.
1.4. We may collect specific information about your use of our products or services for other reasonable purposes, including: questionnaire responses, operational activities, and relevant information we obtain when you interact with Haohaoyoupet/our partners for research and development and improvement, comprehensive statistics, data analysis or processing, other purposes with your consent or authorization, compliance with legal provisions or other reasonable purposes.
1.5. Information shared by other users contains your information and how we use it
If other users post comments, replies, photos, audios, or videos that may contain your information, and you believe that your personal information has been infringed, please contact us through the complaint method and contact information in Article 8 below for processing.
1.6. Your personal information collected indirectly from external third parties
1.6.1. You acknowledge and agree that we cannot obtain the personal information you provide to external third parties or the personal information collected by external third parties, and we will not use unconventional methods (maliciously interfering with the other party's App data) to obtain your personal information without authorization through software programs. If it is necessary to indirectly collect your personal information from a third party due to the necessity of business development, and we provide you with products or services directly or jointly, we (or a third party) will clearly inform you of the source, type, purpose, method and business function of your shared personal information and the scope of authorization and consent before collection (if the method and scope of use exceed the scope of your original authorization by the third party, we will obtain your authorization and consent again). This scenario includes when you log in to our products or services directly through a third-party account, the account information (avatar, nickname) you authorize to share that we obtain from the third party, when some of our products/services are provided by business partners or jointly provided by us and business partners, for the smooth development of necessary/reasonable business, we indirectly collect some of your information from some business partners, and the content related to you (comments, dynamics, pictures, photos, videos) published by other parties when using our products or services.
1.6.2. In addition, before indirectly collecting your personal information, we will clearly require the third party in written form (such as an agreement, a letter of commitment) to collect your personal information indirectly after informing you of the information content to be shared and obtaining your explicit consent. If your personal sensitive information is involved, we require the third party to obtain your reconfirmation before providing it to us for use, and require the third party to make a commitment to the legality and compliance of the source of personal information at the level of the agreement. If the third party violates the regulations, we will clearly require the other party to bear the corresponding legal liability. We will protect the indirectly collected personal information with the same protection means and measures as we use for the directly collected user personal information.
1.7. Exceptions
You fully understand and agree that we do not need your authorization or consent to collect and use your personal information in the following circumstances:
(1) Related to our fulfillment of obligations prescribed by laws and regulations;
(2) directly related to national security or national defense security;
(3) directly related to public safety, public health, or major public interests;
(4) directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial and enforcement of judgment;
(5) For the purpose of protecting your or other individuals’ life, property, or other major legal rights and interests, but it is difficult to obtain your consent;
(6) The information collected is disclosed by you to the public or collected from legal and public channels (such as legal news reports, government information disclosure, etc.);
(7) Necessary for entering into and performing relevant agreements or other written documents with you;
(8) Necessary for maintaining the safe and stable operation of our products or services, such as discovering and resolving product or service failures;
(9) Other circumstances required by competent authorities, laws and regulations, etc.
1.8. Please understand that the functions and services we provide to you are constantly updated and developed. If a function or service is not described above and collects your personal information, we will explain the content, scope and purpose of information collection to you separately through updating this privacy policy, startup or browsing interface prompts, pop-ups, website announcements, in-site messages, interactive processes, website announcements, etc., and provide you with a way to choose consent on your own, and collect information after obtaining your consent. In this process, if you have any questions about related matters, you can contact us through the methods provided in Article 8 of this Privacy Policy, and we will answer you as soon as possible.
2. How we use cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and similar technologies are commonly used on the Internet. When you use Good Pet Care and related services, we may use related technologies to collect your information. We use Cookies and similar technologies mainly to achieve the following functions or services:
2.1. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of products and services: We may set authentication and security cookies or anonymous identifiers to help us confirm whether you have logged into the service safely or whether you have encountered theft, fraud or other illegal activities. These technologies will also help us improve service efficiency and increase login and response speed.
2.2. Help you have an easier access experience: Using such technologies can help you save the steps and processes of repeatedly filling in your personal information and entering search content (for example: filling in forms).
3. How we share, transfer and publicly disclose your personal information
3.1. Sharing
We will not share your personal information with companies, organizations or individuals other than our pet care service providers, except in the following circumstances:
3.1.1. Sharing under legal circumstances: We may share your personal information with relevant administrative and judicial authorities in accordance with laws and regulations, litigation, dispute resolution needs, or requirements made by administrative and judicial authorities in accordance with the law.
3.1.2. Sharing with explicit consent: We will share your personal information provided by a third party with other parties after obtaining your and/or your parents or guardians’ consent.
3.1.3. Sharing between apps of Xman Pets: In order to provide you with consistent services, identify account anomalies, protect the personal and property safety of users or the public from infringement based on the unified account system of Xman Pets, and facilitate your unified management, you know and agree that your relevant personal information may be shared as necessary within Xman Pets products and services. We will share your account information when you log in with your account. If we need to share your personal sensitive information or need to change the purpose of using and processing personal information, we will ask for your authorization and consent again.
3.1.4. Sharing with business partners: You understand and agree that we may need to share some of your information with some business partners for the necessary/reasonable business operations, to fulfill our obligations in the relevant user agreements or this Privacy Policy, to exercise our rights or to comply with legal requirements. However, we promise that we will only share your necessary personal information. If we share your sensitive personal information or change the purpose of using and processing your personal information, we will ask for your authorization and consent again. In particular, some specific modules or functions in the products and services we provide may be provided by the business partner's application programming interface (API), business partner software tool development kit (SDK), or our products and services may be linked to business partners through the business partner's application programming interface (API), software tool development kit (SDK). Regardless of the business partner and form of cooperation, we will conduct strict security detection and access assessments and require them to handle your personal information in accordance with no less stringent than this Privacy Policy and appropriate confidentiality and security measures. We share information with business partners and use it in the following ways:
(1) Information sharing and usage with third-party SDK business partners related to the functions/services of Xman Pets:
Our products may include third-party SDKs or other similar applications. If you use such services provided by third parties on our platform, you agree that they will directly collect and process your information in the form of embedded codes and plug-ins. The collection and processing of information by the aforementioned service providers is subject to their own privacy terms and is not subject to this policy. In order to maximize the security of your information, we recommend that you review the privacy terms before using any third-party SDK services. To protect your legal rights and interests, if you find that there are risks with the SDK or other similar applications, it is recommended that you immediately terminate the relevant operations and contact us in a timely manner. Details of third-party SDK services currently included in our products.
(2) Information sharing and usage with third-party API interface business partners related to the functions/services of Xman Pets:
Some functions or services in our products may need to be provided by calling third-party API interfaces. In this case, in order to meet the security of the third-party API interface and realize the needs of specific product functions or services, we need to share some of your personal information with the third party, the API partners we have connected and related information. (3) Third-party merchants on our platform: In order to fulfill your needs of purchasing products or services and enjoying after-sales services, we will share your order information and transaction-related information with third-party merchants on our platform. When you order performance tickets, we will provide your contact information (contact name, mobile phone number, detailed address, all of which are personal sensitive information) to the ticketing party (Maoyan Ticketing) so that we can send you the performance tickets.
(4) Sharing with partners who jointly provide a service with us: When we cooperate with a third party to jointly launch membership services or other paid services, you agree that we can share your relevant ordering information with the third party in order to resolve refunds, disputes, etc. between us or the third party and you. When we jointly carry out marketing activities with our partners, in order to provide you with normal services and meet your service needs, we will obtain your authorization separately and synchronize your relevant information (subject to your authorization content) to the partner after your authorization.
(5) Sharing with partners who are entrusted by Haohao Pets to provide a service: When we carry out [customer service, user research, event prize distribution or other business that needs to be entrusted to a third party], we may need to share your necessary user personal information with partners to complete the aforementioned matters. In this case, we will use appropriate methods to share after obtaining your consent; at the same time, we will strictly screen partners and require them to handle your personal information in accordance with no less stringent than this Privacy Policy and appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
3.2. Transfer
As the business of Pet Care develops, or as its affiliates may undergo mergers, acquisitions, asset transfers or similar transactions, your user information may be shared with third parties.
3.3. Public Disclosure:
We will only disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:
(1) With your explicit consent or based on your active choice, we may disclose your personal information publicly.
(2) If we determine that you have violated laws and regulations or seriously violated the relevant service agreements or rules of the Xman Pets platform, or in order to protect the personal and property safety of Xman Pets users or the public from infringement, we may disclose your personal information in accordance with laws and regulations or with your consent.
3.4. Exceptions to prior authorization and consent when sharing, transferring, or publicly disclosing personal information
In the following circumstances, we do not need to obtain your prior consent to share or disclose your information:
(1) Related to our performance of legal and regulatory obligations.
(2) Those directly related to national security and national defense security.
(3) Directly related to public safety, public health, or major public interests.
(4) Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial and enforcement of judgment.
(5) Where it is necessary to protect the life, property, or other major legitimate rights and interests of the personal information subject or other individuals, but it is difficult to obtain the authorization and consent of the individual.
(6) The personal information involved is disclosed to the public by the personal information subject on his/her own accord.
(7) Personal information is collected from lawful publicly disclosed information, such as legitimate news reports, government information disclosure, academic research results, etc.
(8) Other circumstances prescribed by laws and regulations.
4. How can you understand and control your personal information?
We will do everything possible to take appropriate technical measures to ensure your control over your personal information, including: you can access, correct/modify, and delete your personal information, and you can also withdraw your previous consent to your personal information. At the same time, you can also cancel your account for raising pets. In order to facilitate your exercise of your above-mentioned control rights, we provide you with operation instructions and operation settings on the relevant function pages of the product, and you can operate them yourself. If you have any doubts or difficulties during the operation, you can contact us in the manner agreed in Article 8 of this Privacy Policy, and we will handle it for you in a timely manner. When understanding, updating, correcting and deleting the aforementioned information, we may ask you to authenticate your identity to ensure the security of your account. In general, you can modify the information you submit at any time, but for security and identity recognition considerations, you may not be able to modify certain initial registration information, verification information and authentication information provided during registration.
4.1. Access to Personal Information
4.1.1. After entering the Pet Care app, you can view your avatar, nickname, and account information in [My Profile] - [Avatar] - [Edit Profile in the upper right corner].
4.1.2. After entering the "Xman Pets", you can click [My Homepage], [My Answers], and [My Favorites] on the [My] page to view the information you have followed or participated in, including uploaded works, videos, posted comments, and favorited information.
4.1.3. After entering the Pet Care app, you can click [My Homepage] on the [My] page and view your friends, followers, fans, and visitors by clicking on Follow, Fans, and Likes respectively.
4.2. Deletion of Personal Information
Generally speaking, we will only keep your personal information for the shortest possible period of time or as required by laws and regulations. To facilitate your exercise of your right to delete, we provide you with two ways: online self-deletion and submitting a deletion request to us.
4.2.1. For some of your personal information, we provide you with operation instructions and operation settings on the relevant function pages of the product, and you can delete it directly. Once you delete it, we will delete or anonymize such information, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations. You can delete your personal information by yourself in the following ways:
(1) After entering the "Xman Pets" app, you can click "My Homepage", "My Answers", and "My Favorites" on the "My" page to view the information you have followed or participated in, and then delete the works and videos you uploaded, the comments you posted, and the information you have collected.
(2) After entering the app "Xman Pets", you can click "My Homepage" on the "My" page and click "Follow", "Fans", and "Likes" respectively to cancel or delete your friends, followers, fans, and visitors information.
(3) When you log in using a third-party account or mobile phone number, you can enter the settings interface through [My] - [Settings] in the upper right corner, and then click on "Deregister Account" to permanently delete the account.
4.2.2. In the following circumstances, you may directly request us to delete your personal information by using the contact information specified in Article 8 of this Privacy Policy, except where the data has been anonymized or otherwise provided for by laws and regulations:
(1) We collect and use your personal information in violation of laws and regulations;
(2) We violate our agreement with you by collecting or using your personal information;
